How much does a bookkeeper cost?
Pricing depends on the size and complexity of your business, so we tailor a package to suit - whether that's a few hours a month or ongoing full-service support. Book a free chat and we'll give you a clear, upfront quote.
How will having a bookkeeper help me in business?
Having someone manage your bookkeeping and compliance frees you up to focus on growing your business. Frances also provides meaningful reports and takes the time to explain them, so you always understand where you stand.
I'm based in regional or rural Australia - can you still help me?
Absolutely. We work fully remotely - if you can scan or email a document, we can help. Servicing clients right across Australia.
Are you limited to one accounting software?
No. Frances has experience across Xero, MYOB, QBO and Easy Business, and is happy to discuss what will work best for your business.
Do you do payroll?
Yes, payroll can be processed based on the information you provide, including STP requirements. As we work across many industries, we're not payroll specialists for every award, so more complex payroll and award questions may be referred on.
Do I need both a bookkeeper and an accountant?
It's not compulsory, but most business owners find it saves time and money. Frances keeps your books accurate throughout the year so your accountant can focus on tax strategy and lodgement - often reducing accounting fees.
Are all bookkeepers BAS agents?
No - it's a separate qualification. Frances is a Registered BAS Agent, so she can prepare and lodge BAS and IAS on your behalf.
What's the difference between bookkeeping and life skills coaching, and can I access both?
Bookkeeping and BAS services look after your numbers. Life skills coaching looks after you - the person running the business. Many clients use both; others choose just one. Get in touch and we'll find the right fit.

What's the difference between a BAS agent and a tax agent?
A Registered BAS Agent (like Frances) can prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, STP and superannuation reporting on your behalf. A tax agent handles your income tax return and broader tax advice. Many business owners use both - a BAS agent to manage things throughout the year, and a tax agent at EOFY.
Do you work with women in business specifically?
Yes. We work with business owners of all kinds, with a particular focus on supporting women in business - combining practical bookkeeping and BAS support with life skills coaching for the person behind the business.
What industries do you work with?
We support a wide range of small businesses across Australia, including construction and trades, health and allied health, hair and beauty, hospitality (cafes, delis and restaurants), retail, wholesale, and professional services.
Do you offer virtual/remote bookkeeping services?
Yes - we're a fully remote bookkeeping and BAS service based in Brisbane, working with clients right across Australia using cloud software such as Xero, MYOB and QBO.
